We are holding a prize draw giving away vegan goodies, to celebrate the delicious vegan choices in our cafes and restaurant.

Visit the Riverside Cafe on World Vegan Day Wednesday 1 November 2017 and with every purchase from the cafe, you get the chance to win a delicious prize from our vegan raffle. From an exquisite vegan afternoon tea for two in the Rooftop Restaurant, to tasty vegan muffins from our cafes, there are more than 60 chances to win.

And we're celebrating World Vegan Month by offering 20% off vegan afternoon tea for two in the Rooftop Restaurant from 1-22 November.

Starters include warm marinated vine tomatoes, roasted baby beets, basil puree and rocket, or giant couscous with red quinoa, fig, toasted almond and red onion salad and pomegranate molasses. Mains range from Turkish aubergine and chick pea stew with freekeh pilaf, herb salsa and pine nuts, or fusilli with butternut squash, red onion, chestnut mushrooms, fried sage and creamy walnut sauce. The meal can be rounded off with sloe gin poached pear served with blackcurrant sorbet or Autumn fruit compote with calvados custard.

Our vegan traditional afternoon tea includes scones, sandwiches and a range of desserts, such as dipped chocolate fruit, tartlets and chocolate cake. A range of specially crafted vegan muffins and croissants are also available from Susie’s Cafe Bar based at our other theatre, The Other Place, down the road from the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. We also offer an array of gluten free dishes.

And the menu isn’t just available for World Vegan Month but all year round.

Our dining menu is available from £21 for two courses or three courses for £26 - Monday to Saturday from 11.30am-3.30pm and 4.30pm-6.15pm.

Afternoon tea is available from 11.30am Sunday to Friday and 1.30pm to 3pm on Saturdays.
