We have now released 25 videos of RSC actors reading Shakespeare's sonnets, all available for free on YouTube.

With the theatres shut and our productions temporarily closed down, we have turned to Shakespeare's poetry for inspiration, creating Sonnets in Solitude.

A range of RSC actors have taken part, recording themselves speaking a sonnet from their own home or garden, with the videos going onto our YouTube channel for everyone to see. Actors involved include Antony Byrne, Avita Jay, Antony Sher and Emma Fielding, all bringing their own unique take to the poems. More sonnets will be added each week.

You can catch up with the series through our YouTube channel, where you can also enjoy highlights from our Midsummer Festival, the #ShareYourShakespeare project and much more.
