A casting update for the London transfer of Gregory Doran’s The Tempest, in collaboration with Intel and in association with The Imaginarium Studios.

Following a sold-out run at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in 2016, The Tempest transfers to the Barbican, London from June 30 2017.

Returning to the show are Simon Russell Beale as Prospero, Mark Quartley as Ariel and Joe Dixon as Caliban, for this ground-breaking show’s seven-week run at the Barbican this summer. 

They will be joined by new cast members Jonathan Broadbent playing Antonio and RSC Associate Artist James Hayes as Stephano.

The show is designed by RSC Director of Design Stephen Brimson Lewis, with Digital Character Creation by The Imaginarium Studios.
