Join us in The Dell Forest Garden to discover how we can help the environment and the environment can help us. With opportunities to take part in citizen science, writing activities, and environmentally friendly crafts, everyone can take time to enjoy the gardens.

Free, no booking required, suitable for all ages.

Memories of Her Majesty

Stratford-upon-Avon Town Hall
Friday 3 June, 10am - 4pm

Come and celebrate with us as we remember the Queen’s royal visits to Stratford-upon-Avon.  See a colourful display photographs and specially selected items from the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust and Royal Shakespeare Company collections, as well as memory boxes created by local community groups.

Family Picnic in the Park

Bancroft Gardens
Saturday 4 June, 2-6pm

We will be joining in the town’s celebration, Stratford-upon-Avon's Platinum Jubilee Festival over the bank holiday weekend.
Take part in activities including flag making and memory making crafts. Our Dell Forest Show Garden will also be there, sharing stories and memories of the Queen’s visits to the theatre and Stratford-upon-Avon.

To complement Picnic in the Park, we will host a relaxed and accessible picnic for those who prefer a more relaxed atmosphere and may find the busyness of the Bancroft Gardens potentially overwhelming. Bring your own picnic and enjoy free activities including a scent garden featuring plants and herbs from Shakespeare’s plays, crafts and live acoustic folk guitar music.

Our events form part of the town's celebrations that take place in the centre of Stratford from Thursday 2 - Sunday 5 June, including free entertainment, family trails, concerts, artisan market, crazy golf and more.
