An illustrated journey from home to home

28 March - 4 October 2020
PACCAR Room, Level 2, Royal Shakespeare Theatre
Open Daily from 10am

Immerse yourself in the journey of birds through the vibrant murals by Artist Matt Sewell.

Across The Sea illustrates the seasonal movement of some of Britain’s most-loved birds. Crossing Africa and the Mediterranean sea, to reach our gardens, coastlines and woodlands, birds brave these dangerous journeys every year. Moving from home to home.

The exhibition brings to surface the risks birds take to survive, thrive and find a place to belong. Through their travels we’re prompted to consider what home means to us and find our own connections to faraway people and places.
