Spark Young Writers Group

A monthly writing group for young people who are interested in creative writing from poems to plays, and editing to dialogue.

Develop your creative writing skills and learn about being a writer through working collaboratively and individually across ten sessions from September to June. Led by professional writer Sue Brown, they meet monthly on Saturday mornings.

The group will work towards a showcase event for friends and family in June 2017. There are also opportunities for group members to take part in other events as well as publishing their writing in an online magazine. 

The group will meet from 10.30am – 12.30pm on the following dates:

Saturday 18 March
Saturday 15 April
Saturday 20 May
Saturday 24 June

The Other Place, Southern Lane, Stratford-upon-Avon

Sue Brown is a writer and performance poet who works collaboratively with musicians and theatre companies, and has worked with school groups on visual art and creative writing projects. Sue has worked with Writing West Midlands for more than ten years as a freelance poet, creative writer and facilitator.
