Twelfth Night Wassail and Ceilidh

A wassail and ceilidh on the 12th night of Christmas to celebrate our new show.

Twelfth Night Wassail and Ceilidh
Saturday 6 January 2018, from 2pm

Roughly translated as ‘be in good health’, wassailing is an English tradition associated with the 12th night of Christmas, singing the health of apple trees in the hope they might yield a good harvest. With Shakespeare's Twelfth Night playing in our theatre it is the perfect moment to stage the first RSC Wassail.
