Summer Holiday Activities

Join us during the summer holidays for workshops and activities for all the family between 24 July and August 2018

The Play's The Thing

Adults with full-price tickets for The Play's The Thing can also bring up to four under-18s to climb the Tower and explore our exhibition of props and costumes for free throughout the holidays.

Workshops

Our workshops use approaches straight from our rehearsal rooms. These are broken down into three age ranges:

Introduce
For ages 4 – 8 and their families/carers
Introduce the love of theatre and Shakespeare to your family with our series of fun and active 45 minute taster workshops.

Discover
For ages 8 – 12 and their families/carers
Discover how our actors work in the rehearsal room to make theatre whilst learning more about Shakespeare’s plays. We also run full-day workshops within this age group for young people to attend without their parent/carers.

Explore
For ages 13 - 17
These sessions will give a greater insight into the work of the RSC and how we create theatre and bring Shakespeare to life. These workshops are for young people to attend without their parents/carers.

Free activities

We also offer a range of free activities including craft for all ages, storytelling for under 5's, displays around the building and handling opportunities of our exhibition collection.
