SEAWEED! It gets everywhere! Every day the tide comes in and covers the beach. When the tide goes out, leaving the sand clean and smooth and glistening, it also leaves behind seaweed! It’s slimy and smelly, and slippery and Prospero, the Beach Caretaker, can’t stand it! Everyone complains about it, none more so than his daughter Miranda, who is planning a beach party for her upcoming birthday. Prospero sets off in his boat to tackle the seaweed out at sea and it is here we find him, trapped in a huge, floating mass of seaweed. Beleaguered, unable to row back to land, he manages to attract the attention of a passing Seagull, on the lookout for something to eat. They strike up an unlikely friendship through which Prospero begins to appreciate the wonderful benefits of seaweed. Lasts approx. 20 minutes. Suitable for all ages.
