Play in a Day

Spend a day with our theatremakers to create and perform a short version of one of Shakespeare's plays.

Young people aged nine to 14 can take part in our all-day drama workshops and in the afternoon perform King Lear or As You Like It to family and friends. Working as an ensemble theatre company, they devise, direct and act in a 20-30 minute reworking of a Shakespeare play.

The workshops take place in Stratford-upon-Avon. They are fun and physical workshops, so wear comfortable clothes, soft soled shoes and bring lots of water. And don't forget a packed lunch!

A large group of young people perform a battle scene.
