Art Warming

Creativity and Kindness will get us through this

During April, we collected stories of kindness and generosity with our local community. We wanted to remember the small things that have seen us through a difficult year and create this into a joyful celebration around Stratford town centre.
Working with artist Saadia Hipkiss and local volunteers, we transformed messages of hope and love into beautifully painted rocks and created a Kindness Garden in disused shop windows. You will also find some kindness rocks hidden in 11 shop windows and outside around the town. Messages of kindness were also recorded, called Stratford Says Thank You which you can listen to below.

The Kindness Garden is located in Unit 12 of Bell Court Shopping Centre, near the High Street and will be on display until the end of May 2021.

Listen to members of public sharing their stories of kindness and who has been their rock through this past year.

Art Warming is sponsored by Bell Court and kindly supported by the Stratford Town Trust.
