The news from Wolf Hall

We welcome two new bloggers to the Whispers From The Wings blog this week. Nick Day and Joey Batey are writing from the rehearsals for Wolf Hall and Bring Up The Bodies.

Nick plays the Duke of Norfolk (Anne Boleyn's uncle) and Joey plays Mark Smeaton (a musician who was infatuated with Anne). Nick has been with us before. Joey is joining our company for the first time.

Previously from Wolf Hall ...
They will be writing about their experiences from the rehearsal rooms and into the performance of the plays. They'll be able to give insider information about the process of taking Hilary Mantel's best-selling novels to the Swan stage in Mike Poulton's dramatisation.

This week Nick writes about a trip to the Tower which proved to be an emotional experience for some. Meanwhile Joey compares Thomas Cromwell's story to Breaking Bad and comes to some interesting conclusions.

Elsewhere on the blog
The Whispers From The Wings blog is a diary of our productions, explaining what's happening through the rehearsal process. They are written by our cast and crew. Alongside Nick and Joey we currently have bloggers writing about Richard II, Anthony and Cleopatra, Titus Andronicus, A Mad World My Masters, and Candide.

Let us know what you think by leaving a comment on the blog. Or ask us a question. We will do our best to get you an answer.
