Shakespeare photography competition

Our friends at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust here in Stratford-upon-Avon are running a photography competition to find Shakespeare-inspired pictures from around the world.

It's open to anyone – so spread the word to friends and family wherever they are.

The competition is to photograph a place, object, road sign, landmark, anything that is inspired by Shakespeare. The more far-flung your picture the better.

The closing date is 12 January 2014 so there's less than a fortnight to enter your picture into the competition.

The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust will be holding an exhibition in March 2014 called Famous Beyond Words which will showcase the influence that William Shakespeare still has on our world. Winning photographs for the competition may be displayed as part of the exhibition. And one overall winner will receive a Pentax Q10 camera.

Find out more about the competition and enter your picture on the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust website. Good luck!
