Come and perform on our Christmas stage

We're inviting local groups to perform on our Christmas stage in the five Sundays leading up to Christmas.

If you take part in a performance group in Stratford-upon-Avon or nearby you're invited to give a festive performance on our Christmas stage. In the five Sundays leading up to Christmas we need groups to entertain our visitors with festive songs, sketches or short plays in the Scott Foyer area of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.

There are four slots of 45 minutes up for grabs on each Sunday between 12 noon and 4pm.

So if you're in a choir, amateur dramatic group, school band, college drama group, community music group, or any other kind of group that performs for the public send us an application.

Sunday dates for the Christmas stage

  • 24 November
  • 1 December
  • 8 December
  • 15 December
  • 22 December

How to apply
If you are interested in taking part download the application form [Word document] and then email it back to us at Send your completed form back to us by Monday 11 November.

Each group will be given 15 minutes set-up time and there will be a limited PA kit available. Groups who perform will be welcome to collect money from the audience for a registered charity of their choice.

Our Events and Exhibitions officer, Nicola Salmon, says: 'I know how much talent there is out there so I'm looking forward to five festive Sundays full of music and entertainment.'
