Actor seeks cycling buddies from around the country

Actor Nick Holder is looking for local cycling enthusiasts to help him train for a charity cycle ride as he begins the tour of The Winter's Tale

Nick, who plays the Young Shepherd in our touring production, is preparing for The London Revolution - a gruelling two day 180 mile cycle in London on 18 and 19 May.

He is looking for cyclists in Milton Keynes, York, Nottingham, Edinburgh, Hull and Stoke to help him cycle between two and four hours every day in preparation for the big ride.

Nick said: 'I actually entered the ride before I knew I'd be touring round the country with The Winter's Tale, but I'm not one to shirk a challenge, so I'm looking forward to performing at night, and then fulfilling my training schedule during the day.

'What I'm looking for in each of the six towns and cities the show is visiting are local cycling enthusiasts who would be happy to get in touch with me in advance to advise me on good cycling routes, and maybe cycle with me whilst I'm in the area.'

Nick is cycling in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
