July is Ice Cream Month!

COME AND TASTE NEW FLAVOURS AT THE RSC'S RIVERSIDE RESTAURANT IN STRATFORD UPON AVON
Now that the weather is warmer, we are gearing up for ice cream month in July by introducing some delicious new flavours which are currently on sale now, either to eat al fresco from our Rocket (parked outside the Royal Shakespeare Theatre) or in our Rooftop Restaurant or Riverside Café.
Since transforming our theatre spaces in 2010, our new catering outlets have gone from strength to strength and have evolved to now serve patrons with not only pre and post theatre menus, afternoon tea and snacks by the river but also Tapas in the Circle bar, Sunday Brunch - and summer time snacks from our original 1950s chrome Rocket which not only include milk shakes and Sundaes, but also new flavours of ice cream from family firm Jude's.
Flavours include Raspberry Ripple, Salted Caramel, Vanilla, Double chocolate and Rum and Raisin. All flavours are Gluten Free as well as delicious and if you fancy something fruitier we also have Mango Crush Sorbets on offer.
RSC Head of Catering, Vicki Fleming said 'We are really excited to be able to offer such delicious new flavours of scooped ice cream, as well as our home made desserts at the Rooftop Restaurant. I hope that people will come and join us after a trip to either see a show or one of our free exhibitions in and around the theatres. And remember - ice cream is definitely not just for children!'
