Twelfth Night directed by Gregory Doran
Everyone is looking for love - some in impossible places. Some mourn the love they have lost. Some long for love they are refused. In Illyria love aches and madness rules.
Following its run in Stratford-upon-Avon, Gregory Doran's production of Shakespeare's darkly comic Twelfth Night transfers to London's West End for a limited 10-week run at the Duke of York's Theatre. This production sees the RSC debut of Richard Wilson as Malvolio. Joining Richard will be James Fleet (Sir Andrew Aguecheek) and many familiar RSC actors including Sam Alexander (Sebastian), Nancy Carroll (Viola), Alexandra Gilbreath (Olivia), Jo Stone-Fewings (Orsino), Miltos Yerolemou (Feste) and Associate Artist Richard McCabe (Sir Toby Belch) returning to the Company following his acclaimed performance in Stratford-upon-Avon as King John.
Twelfth Night is at the Duke of York's Theatre in St Martin's Lane from 19 December 2009 to 27 February 2010.
