Performed in 17 short scenes with greater emphasis on the role of the witches, who are visible on stage from beginning to end, Phoenix have introduced some new and thought provoking ideas into the play.

About Phoenix Theatre

Based in Mold, North Wales, the core of the group has been together for over 30 years. They have appeared in the Wales one-act play finals 16 times in the past 20 years. They have also represented Wales in four British one-act play finals and two NDFA finals.

Phoenix enjoy the challenge of attempting plays that other groups might not consider as well  as more established plays.

As well as festival drama, over the past 10 years Phoenix have taken murder mystery evenings all around North East Wales and Cheshire helping to raise money for charities and good causes. They usually perform at least one full length play at Clywd Theatr Cymru. Past productions have included Habeas Corpus, When we are Married, Billy Liar, Dark of the Moon, Blithe Spirit.
