Much Ado About Nothing

Lindsey Dryden's short film captures Designer Tom Piper in the final few days of creating his set, before the play opens to the public and his design is revealed to the world.

Tom explains how a trip to India inspired the balance of realism and imagination that he's striving for in his set design, and how his work is based on a collaboration of hundreds of craftspeople and artists. As opening night nears, and pressure mounts to complete the set on time, we witness the Courtyard Theatre transformed.
