Thomas Malory's Morte d'Arthur is the first English version of the legend of King Arthur.

Bringing the familiar and not-so-familiar tales of Britain's first great epic to spectacular life, this new adaptation traces Arthur's rise and fall, from the sword in the stone and the foundation of the Round Table to the Holy Grail and the adultery of Launcelot and Guenever.

See brave knights, damsels in distress and fiery dragons as The Courtyard Theatre plays host to the story of the 'once and future King'.

Morte d'Arthur is adapted by Mike Poulton and directed by RSC Chief Associate Director Gregory Doran. The ensemble includes Sam Troughton as King Arthur, Kirsty Woodward as Guenever and Jonjo O'Neill as Launcelot.

Please note there are some scenes of a violent and sexual nature and there may be some nakedness in this production, and so we therefore suggest that it may not be suitable for children under the age of 11.
