Staging the Wars: Henry IV Parts I and II
Join our actors, technicians and creative teams at the Barbican Centre as we examine the characters and action of Henry IV Part I & II in this specially created day.
Sessions will include:
- How do you turn a theatre into a battlefield? An onstage session with members of the creative team looking at the challenges of creating a warzone on stage; exploring the design choices made on the set of Henry IV Parts I and II; and examine the interpretive choices that the text offers;
- A one-hour practical workshop exploring the story and characters;
- A post-show talk with the actors
Ideal for: KS4 and 5

Location: Barbican Centre
Cost: £24 per student (RSC Education Members), £25 per student (non-Members). Price includes a ticket for matinee performance of Henry IV Part I. One free adult place is provided (and required) for every ten students.
