The Wrong Crowd in rehearsal

The Wrong Crowd
Tuesday 20 - Sunday 25 August

Inspired by In Stitches, The Wrong Crowd are setting up their home in the Costume Craft exhibition for a week, bringing the world of costume-making to life. Various events take place across the week, offering opportunities to join them as they get stuck in to the art of designing and crafting costumes for the stage.

Free Drop in Activities
Each morning try our simple costume templates that you can decorate and wear as you explore the rest of the exhibition. From a crown and cuffs or ears and a tail, there will be something for everyone to make.

Please note, this activity requires using scissors, so younger children may need assistance from an adult and should not be left unattended.

You can also book onto a Creative Costume Workshop each afternoon from 2 - 4pm or come to our very first family Sleepover at the theatre on the Sunday night.

The Wrong Crowd make visually inventive theatre, which fuses storytelling, music, live action and puppetry, reinterpreting wild, old stories for contemporary audiences.
