Play Cart

The Play Cart is free to use and available all day for family and friends to enjoy together.

It is full of fun activities like how to make a mask, creating a crown or sketching a scene. You could also borrow a book and take time out to read a Shakespeare story together.

It's available to use all day in the Swan Reading Room and the Riverside Café.

Shipwreck
This summer there's even more to do in the Swan Reading Room. 

Celebrating Shakespeare's shipwreck trilogy playing in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, you can uncover the treasures in our very own Shipwreck. 

You can hideout in Caliban's den, make a captain's hat, fish for creatures and find out about the sea and ships in Shakespeare's plays.
