Join us for simple arts activities for under 10's. You can sign our birthday card for Billy, make a simple Yorick's Skull, design Ophelia's flowers or create a Shakespeare finger puppet to take away with you.
Workshops for families and children in the Ferguson Room
Blood, Guts & Gore
11.30am – 12.15pm
Join former RSC Head of Wigs and Makeup Brenda Leedham as she shows you the tricks of creating bruises, cuts and scars in this demonstration needing willing participants! Suitable for all ages.
Storytelling - Hamlet
12.30 – 1.15pm
Active Become an actor and tell the story of Hamlet. Everyone gets involved, so be prepared to make music, dress up and join in with the fun. Suitable for 3 – 8 year olds.
Family Workshop – As You Like It
1.30 – 2.30pm
A practical, fun workshop for children and their families to introduce and explore Shakespeare's play As You Like It actively together. Suitable for ages 7+
2.45 – 3.45pm
Learn how to pull a punch in this active workshop and demonstration of stage fighting techniques. Suitable for ages 7+
All sessions are free, last between 45 – 60 minutes and tickets are available on the door 15 mins before the start time on a first come, first served basis.
