“An out-of-the ordinary theatrical experience”
The Guardian
Claytime is interactive theatre created for 3 – 6 year olds.
Each performance is unique: the story, setting and characters are spontaneously suggested by the audience and modelled out of a mound of clay by the performers. The children's story is then brought to life through an improvised play performed to music.
Afterwards, children are invited to play together on stage alongside the performers to make their own wonderful worlds of 'amazing animals', 'morphing monsters' and 'lyrical landscapes' from clay.
Created and devised by Sally Brown, Steve Tiplady, Carey English and Giles Leaman.
Age suitability: 3 – 6 years of age.
