Theatre tours

We offer a range of tours to bring you closer to the world of theatre and find out more about the history behind the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Tours last approximately one hour and can be booked in advance online or by calling the RSC Box Office. Please note, certain tours are only available on selected dates. 

You could also combine your tour with an Open Set Changeover, for a chance to see the technical teams in action in the auditorium (selected dates only).

    Tour the Front of House areas of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and journey from the beginnings of the theatre in 1879 to the modern day. Also hear behind the scenes secrets such as how costumes are made and how effects are achieved.
