Bringing the family
We welcome families to our theatres in Stratford-upon-Avon. Performances are suitable for children aged 5 and over, unless specified.
Family ticket discounts are available Monday to Friday evenings and all matinees.
The Play Cart is full of fun activities and is available to use every day in the Swan Reading Room and the Riverside Cafe.
The Treasure Trail is an easy to follow route which will take you through the theatre's history. Pick up a leaflet in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre or Swan Theatre foyers.
Children are also welcome in the Rooftop Restaurant and the Riverside Cafe .
We have a wide range of public events as well as an active education programme working with schools.
We have baby changing facilities in all Ladies Toilets, plus the Swan Theatre and Rooftop Restaurant Accessible toilets for Gentlemen.
We are a pram-friendly building. There's good level access throughout and lift access to all floors. We are happy to store prams for you in our Cloakroom during the day on request. Please note that this is entirely at own risk as the Cloakroom is unstaffed throughout most of the day.
