The Clore Learning Centre, Waterside
For the first time in our history, we have a permanent home for our work with over 2000 teachers, 65,000 young people, and many families and community groups each year.
Michael Boyd, the RSC's Artistic Director, said: "At the end of our year long campaign 'Stand up for Shakespeare' to change the way Shakespeare is taught in schools, I'm very proud to open a brand new centre which will be a fantastic resource for so many young people. It reflects our growing commitment to family and community activities and our desire to connect people with Shakespeare and open up theatre-making to new audiences."
Our new Eduation and Events venue in the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon offers an ideal base for schools visits, public and community events.
