7 ways to give
I hope that people across the world know that by supporting the RSC they are making a contribution not just to one theatre company in the UK, but to the performance and appreciation of Shakespeare worldwide.
— Patrick Stewart
The RSC is based around the idea of Ensemble – everyone has a part to play. This is also true of the transformation of our theatres – we can only achieve our goal with the support of everybody. We need your help to create the home that Shakespeare’s plays deserve.
£1 million to raise - play your part
With the launch of the Transforming Our Theatres Appeal it is now even easier to help us reach our £1 million target. There are seven ways to get involved.
Take Your Seat
Many RSC Members have chosen to be a part of the new Royal Shakespeare Theatre by naming a seat for themselves or in memory of a loved one. You too can name a seat for a monthly donation of £50 over 24 months or by making a single contribution of £1,200 or more. Find out more or name your seat online.
Sponsor a Brick
By sponsoring a brick your donation of £50 will support our transformation and in appreciation of your support you will receive a commemorative certificate. Sponsor a brick online and you will get a special thank you message from Patrick Stewart.
Donate any amount to the transformation project at the simple click of a button.
- Top Up Your Tickets
When you buy tickets online or through our Box Office, you can add a donation to top up your purchase.

The next time you visit The Courtyard Theatre you can deposit your spare change in our collection box. Every penny will help support the transformation.
