Flytower roof demolition nearly complete

The flytower roof demolition is almost complete, as is the demolition of the fountain stair roof. The fuel tanks in the stage left basement are also being demolished. During the coming week the demolition contractor DSM will hand over in phases the areas where demolition is complete whilst completing the work currently in progress. Work will begin on a base for piling in the stage left wing area.
Meanwhile Cementation, the piling contractor continues to work in the auditorium area and on the riverside, where 'mini piles' to form the foundations of the new dressing room block are almost complete.
