Work continues behind the hoardings

We have now begun a period when progress on site is barely visible from outside of the hoardings. Demolition work is still in progress: last week the concrete ground floor slab of the Stage Left wing was broken out and work continued on the removal of sections of the fly tower roof.
During this week similar activities are in train: the stage left wing basement levels are being demolished and work on the fly tower roof and the roof adjacent to the fountain stair takes place.
Within the auditorium piling work continues - the movement about the site of the tall orange-painted piling rig shows where work is taking place.
