Dressing room demolition continues

The testing of the pile installed in the car park was completed satisfactorily. The auditorium floor slab has been sawn through to isolate the section to be broken out from the surrounding areas.
The old stage lift is fully dismantled and removed: items of interest have been retained as requested by the project architects. The flood compensation works in The Dell have commenced and will continue through the coming week.
Obstructions in the ground will be removed in preparation for piling works. The blue painted steel structure erected around the balcony stair will support that corner of the building when the stair is demolished.
Dressing room demolition and brick reclamation continues. The Swan Theatre's temporary electrical supply is being installed so that background heating can be provided there. The temporary lighting for the hoardings in Theatre Gardens will also be installed.
