Kitchen and bar equipment
As part of the RSC’s major transformation project in Stratford-upon-Avon there will be new bars, a restaurant, a café and a staff canteen.
The RSC is looking for contractors to supply and install all the catering equipment to four bars, a café, a rooftop restaurant, the kitchen and areas to support these activities.
The design work has already been carried out by the RSC’s catering consultant, and the contractor will be required to do site measurements, installation drawings and potentially some changes to services. Some works have been installed, including construction of bar fronts, first and second fix of services (where possible) and, in the kitchen, the cladding, canopies and cold rooms.
The value for this contract will be in the region of £350,000 to £450,000.
Installation of equipment to be undertaken during September / October 2010.
30 April - prequalification questionnaires to be returned to the RSC
10 May - tender documents sent to selected contractors
Mid June - tenders to be returned
Early July - contractor appointed
