RSC supporters face the cameras for fund-raising film
With the Royal Shakespeare Theatre's Transformation project now in its final year, over 160 supporters came together to help create a promotional trailer to raise awareness of the Transforming Our Theatres Appeal.
Volunteers met in The Courtyard Theatre, where they donned costumes, grabbed swords and props and headed for the Theatre Gardens in Stratford-upon-Avon, ready to film the final shot of the two minute trailer, titled 'We're Coming Home.'
The film, which is being produced for the RSC by Dusthouse Productions, aims to capture the essence of productions over the past decades, as well as to build upon the excitement that exists around the opening of the new theatre. That's all we can say for now so look out for the film, which will be launched in spring.
Thank you to all those that took part, including RSC staff, members of the local community and RSC Facebook and Twitter followers. If you are interested in finding out ways in which you can support the Transformation, please visit the 'Appeal' section.
