When contractors Michael J Lonsdale and Stage Electrics began work on site in the spring, the job of installation miles and miles of cables began.
The work will carry on until April next year and will provide the wiring for all of the theatre’s lighting and all the electrics in the auditorium including the hearing induction loop, audio system, fire alarm, production lighting sockets. It also includes the cabling for the lighting, with each lighting point, there are 150 lights in the auditorium alone, having three different cables!
