Spend your summer at The Other Place. For three weeks in August, TOP will deliver a lively menu of stuff for kids, professional theatre classes, rehearsed readings, film nights, a new writing series, short shows and special platform events.


Explore and discover more about Shakespeare's darker plays, how they came to be, how they were received when they were written and what they mean to us now. A full programme of lectures, debates and professional classes will be available with input from directors, actors and special guests.


Throughout the Stratford Festival Season, the RSC invites you to enjoy a coversation series with actors who have a special association with the Company.


This will be a rare opportunity to experience what happens when the RSC's globally renowned production skills are used by a company drawn from across Warwickshire.
You will witness the culmination of a three month process that started with open auditions and workshops and finishes with a frenetic week of rehearsal before being presented to the public on stage at The Other Place in Stratford.


Live music makes a unique contribution to live theatre: it can create atmosphere, settings and even characters. This practical course will aim to explore simple and effective ways in which music and musicians can work alongside actors and text in telling a story on stage.


A creative entry point to the productions. Discover more about the plays and the rehearsal and design process which transform them into a show for the stage. These sessions will involve actors and other key artists working on stage before a matinee performance.
