Accenture case study

Accenture is pleased to partner with the Royal Shakespeare Company for its tour of King Lear.

Title sponsor of King Lear international tour

Since 2003 Accenture has been involved in a unique relationship with the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC), as its 'High Performance Business Partner'. The relationship has recently been extended and Accenture will now support the RSC for a further year.

King Lear

Accenture is the title sponsor of the 2007 international tour the RSC is undertaking with Sir Ian McKellen taking the title role in William Shakespeare's King Lear and as Sorin in Anton Chekhov's The Seagull. The tour will perform in five English-speaking countries - United Kingdom, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and the United States of America, exposing more than 200,000 theatre-goers to one of the most important theatrical events of the decade.

Accenture and the RSC

As the RSC's partner, Accenture provides the Company with services to help it develop its performance as a business, and to achieve the same unparalleled success commercially as it enjoys artistically. Most recently, Accenture provided the RSC with a range of skills and facilities which enabled it to correctly segment customers according to their buying behaviour. By identifying and understanding the results, the RSC is able to analyse audience information continuously, tailor communications to specific audiences, and revise marketing scenarios on its own.

As one of the world's leading management consulting, technology services and outsourcing organisations, Accenture mobilises the power of teaming to deliver high performance and innovation to our clients and partners all over the world. On behalf of our 152,000 Accenture people worldwide, we invite you to enjoy this performance of King Lear.
