The RSC has a long history with America. Our productions regularly tour to the US and our Ensemble performed as part of the 2011 Lincoln Center Festival in New York.
We also continue to develop a number of education partnerships through our Stand Up for Shakespeare campaign to give young people their best experience of Shakespeare.
RSC America is an independent organisation based in New York, established as tax exempt under IRS 501(c)(3). It supports the activities of the RSC in the UK, the US and throughout the world. The RSC America Board periodically reviews grant proposals from the RSC and distributes funds to support it. Recently, RSC America supported the capital campaign to transform our theatres, new work, the Literary Department and general operating costs. Make a donation.
