A Walk with Julian Bowsher to Henry IV Land - Buy tickets
Saturday 11 October, 10.45am
Starting near Liverpool St Station

Julian Bowsher, author of Shakespeare's London Theatreland, will lead a walk which will visit the sites mentioned in Henry IV Parts I & II ending with the Heminge Condell memorial to Shakespeare. We will have lunch and then proceed to Dr Johnson's house. Johnson compiled the first dictionary of the English language and published an edition of Shakespeare's plays. This event will involve a lot of walking, but could be made easier by using public transport if you wish.

Tickets: £10 (not including lunch or entrance to Dr Johnson's house, which is reduced for National Trust members). Please email housesteads1@btinternet.com when you have booked for joining instructions.

Booking closes on Thursday 9 October, 10.45am.
