How to leave a legacy

Robin Hood 2011

Leaving a gift to the RSC can be relatively straightforward.

Here are some guidelines, but we recommend discussing a bequest with a qualified professional such as a will writer or solicitor.

Leaving a share of your estate to the RSC
I give (specify 'all' or state 'percentage share') of my residuary estate to the Royal Shakespeare Company, Waterside, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire CV37 6BB (Registered Charity No. 212481) for its general charitable purposes. I further direct that the receipt of the treasurer or other authorised officer shall be a full and sufficient discharge to my executors.

Leaving a fixed amount to the RSC
I give the sum of (amount in figures or words) to the Royal Shakespeare Company, Waterside, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire CV37 6BB (Registered Charity No. 212481) for its general charitable purposes. I further direct that the receipt of the treasurer or other authorisedofficer shall be a full and sufficient discharge to my executors.
