The second RSC New Work Festival turns the Company's attention overseas, presenting international work alongside that of British writers focusing on international themes.

Transferring from the New Work Festival in Stratford-upon-Avon to the Soho Theatre, London, the season promises five weeks of exciting and challenging drama performed by actors from the 05 ensemble.

British playwrights, Fraser Grace and debbie tucker green, explore the West's relationship with the developing world and two startling new voices from the US, David Adjmi and Brett Neveu, each take their own look at violence in the most powerful country in the world.

We also welcome back last year's moving and hilarious testimony by journalist Yasmin Alibhai-Brown which tells of her early days as an aspiring actress at Uganda's National Theatre.
