An opportunity to explore how theatre-based approaches can be used to inspire creative and informed written, oral, and speaking and listening assignments for GCSE coursework for English Language and English Literature.
The day will focus on Othello and Macbeth.
- Explore how language and action are used to portray different characters and different moods
- Consider alternative interpretations of themes and characters
- Relate plays to their social, cultural and historical contexts
- Activities are transferable across Shakespeare's work and other texts.
This course costs £130 per person or £115 for Education Members. The price includes lunch, refreshments and comprehensive supporting notes.
