Sixth form conferences
Sixth form conferences are one-day intensive courses designed for 16+ English or Theatre Studies' students studying Shakespeare. Students find out more about the director's role and the challenges faced in bringing Shakespeare's plays to the stage. We also explore some of the choices that this season's directors have made, with specific reference to this year's productions and previous RSC productions.
Members of the acting company and creative team explore these choices with the students, and offer insights into rehearsal room techniques used to access Shakespeare's language and uncover meaning.
The conferences culminate in an opportunity to see the current production.
