On the right is a range of suggested activities for students which reflect the work done in the rehearsal rooms. Activities are designed to help students experience the play in their own terms whilst supporting their ability to use the language of Shakespeare. Emphasis is on the interpretative choices made by a production in order to encourage students to have confidence in making their own creative judgements.
Practical work should be useful for a wide range of students. It will support courses such as 'A' Level Theatre Studies, 'A' Level English, Performing Arts, Expressive Arts and GCSE Drama, whilst also being of interest for individual research as a further insight into rehearsal room practice.
