A murderer's journey

Who's this? Dominic Cooke is the director.

Context: Political chaos goes hand in hand with tyranny. The director wanted to convey the idea of a country in upheaval. At the end of Macbeth we have a sense of a country being released from political catastrophe.

Look at: Act 4 Scene 3: Ross's speech about Scotland under Macbeth.

Did you know? The director mentions Rwanda where in 1994, after the assassination of the president, around 800,000 people were killed in 100 days.
