The effect on the actor

Who's this? Joe Dixon plays Oberon.

Context: An actor looks forward to trying out his costume in the technical rehearsal. This is the opportunity to test out how the colours and movement of the fabric will look under the lights. It is the last chance for design or production alterations. Sometimes if a costume will affect the actor's movement he will have had a practice costume made to use in rehearsal in order to get used to the weight or length of the garment.
