This movie is in two sections:
Director's approach is playing - Designer's approach

Context: As the RSC works as a repertory company, a single actor may be cross-cast, that is, cast in two or three different productions. As the productions cycle through the repertoire, the actor might be onstage in a matinee for one play, take a different part that evening in a second play and be getting ready to start rehearsals on a third. Being with the company can be like an extended training as young actors work alongside those with more experience. Many progress over the seasons from playing a 'spear-carrier' to taking a main role.
