Context: This is a run-through of the end of Act 3 Scene 2. Puck ,who opens the scene, is invisible. He is luring the lovers through the dark forest until he has drawn them all together. The other speakers in the scene are the lovers. All the other actors are invisible fairies changing themselves into the dangers and obstructions of the forest - rocks, bushes, briars, roots - all there to make the lovers' journey more difficult. The way the fairies manipulate the lovers underlines their influence on the human world and makes a connection with the use of puppets elsewhere in the production.
