Context: The lovers have to find themselves in the forest. At this stage Helena and Demetrius have no relationship; their status is quite out of balance. He is arrogant and aggressive in his behaviour towards her and needs to learn some humility; she has low self-esteem and needs to discover some sense of self-worth.
