Henry VI Part III
Henry VI Part III is part of a trilogy of Shakespeare's plays set during the lifetime of King Henry VI of England, centred around the Wars of the Roses.
Last performed at the RSC as part of Michael Boyd's eight play Histories cycle, the play is often staged as part of a sequence of Shakespeare's History plays.
Here you can find a synopsis of the play, information on when Henry VI Part III was written and the sources the writers may have used.
Over the coming years the RSC is staging the entire Shakespearean canon on our stages. As the plays are staged, we will be adding more resources to these pages.
